Working in Confined Spaces
Confined spaces are commonly found in vats, silos, tanks, pits, pipes, containers and other similar enclosed or partially enclosed structures on farm. Hazards are not always obvious, it’s important you and your team have the skills and knowledge to enter and work in confined spaces safely.
Who should attend the course?
Producers, managers, supervisors, farm hands and anybody else that either expects others to enter and work in confined spaces or themselves is required to enter and work in confined spaces.
What does the course consist of
One-day interactive workshop.
The course aims to develop knowledge and skills in:
planning and preparing for working in a confined space
entering, working safely in, and exiting confined spaces.

Accredited Training
The enter and work in confined spaces course is aligned and delivered against vocational education and training requirements.
Successful completion of assessment tasks will result in achieving a Statement of Attainment and can contribute to a nationally-recognised qualification.
