Have proven experience with tractors and want to learn to operate a tractor and chaser bin to safely provide support in a harvest situation?

Grain harvest workers need to safely operate and maintain sophisticated machinery and equipment while maintaining high standards of product hygiene.


Who should attend the course?

This course is designed for people who already possess proven tractor skills and who would like further training in managing a tractor & chaser bin & other relevant machinery in a harvest situation.


What does the course consist of?

  • Two days of face to face training.


Develop skills and knowledge in:

  • the processes of grain harvest from the field to bulk storage

  • basic operational principles of a combine harvester, grain cartage, handling and storage

  • introduction to WHS on farm.


Unit of competency

  • AHCBAC203 - Assist with agricultural crop harvesting

  • AHCMOM203 - Operate basic machinery and equipment


Accredited Training

The operate tractors course is aligned and delivered against vocational education and training requirements.
