Grain harvest workers need to safely operate and maintain sophisticated machinery and equipment while maintaining high standards of product hygiene.


Who should attend the course?

This course is designed for people with no prior experience operating farm machinery looking to gain the basic skills required to commence supervised work operating and maintaining tractors and machinery to assist with harvest operations.


What does the course consist of

Three days of face to face training including a one day introduction to tractors and a two day overview of harvest operations.


Unit of competency

  • AHCMOM202 - Operate tractors

  • AHCBAC203 - Assist with agricultural crop harvesting

  • AHCMOM203 - Operate basic machinery and equipment


Accredited Training

The operate tractors course is aligned and delivered against vocational education and training requirements.
